Zenith: Nexus + Zenith: The Last City
The closest thing VR has to a full MMO right now, split between a free session-based mode and a paid open-world MMO, but 'mixed' reviews tell you there's still work left on the table.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Best for VR owners who want a genuine MMO foundation and can overlook thin endgame content and an uncertain update future.

Acerca de Zenith: Nexus + Zenith: The Last City
I've spent enough time in VR headsets to know that most 'MMOs' in this space are really just lobbies with swords. Zenith: Nexus is genuinely different, and that distinction matters even if the game doesn't always hold up its end of the deal. What you're actually buying into here is a two-mode package: Infinite Realms, the free session-based co-op RPG where you slash mobs, tackle parkour challenges, and rotate through daily and weekly content runs with friends; and The Last City, the paid DLC side that gives you a proper open-world MMORPG with quests, dungeons, PVP, crafting, and three classes to level up. The physical combat is where this game earns its keep. Blocking attacks with real tracked-controller movement, hurling spells to slow enemies, pulling out dual blades and actually swinging them at things, it all hits differently in VR than anything a flatscreen MMO can simulate. Gliding across the landscape and climbing terrain to reach out-of-the-way spots are genuine highlights, the kind of traversal that makes you wonder why more open-world games haven't done this. The skill system, built around unlockable Godstones slotted to gesture-based movements, spells, and ultimate abilities, has real depth once you start building around it. The social stuff, grouping up for hunts, cooking with other players for buffs, catching creatures for pet bonuses, works surprisingly well in a VR context where proximity to other people actually means something. But the mixed Steam rating is not a conspiracy. The open world in The Last City can feel noticeably empty in stretches, and the core systems, while functional, have run lean on content for most of the game's lifespan. Endgame options are limited, bugs have been a recurring presence, and the studio went through a financially turbulent period that led to the whole Nexus rebrand in early 2024. Infinite Realms is the result of Ramen VR stripping the game down to what players actually engaged with and building a season-based structure around it. Season 4 was flagged as the last major Nexus content update, so anyone expecting an active roadmap ahead should go in with measured expectations. PCVR players will have the best experience here, with smoother performance compared to standalone headsets and noticeably better visual detail. Motion sickness comfort options are present and mostly adequate, though longer play sessions can still catch sensitive players off guard. If you have a VR setup and a few friends who also do, the co-op runs in Infinite Realms are a genuinely good time with no buy-in required. The Last City is worth considering for anyone who wants to see what a fully scoped VR MMO actually feels like, even if it is still rougher around the edges than a traditional MMO of the same ambition.
