A content-creator life sim that finally goes online, but arrives in Early Access with rough edges and a divided community. Worth a look if the fantasy hooks you, but temper expectations.

I went into Youtubers Life 3 expecting a comfortable upgrade on the series formula and got something more complicated than that. UPLAY Online, the Spanish indie studio behind every entry since 2016, has spent the third installment chasing one big idea: make the streamer grind a genuinely multiplayer experience. On paper that pivot is interesting. In practice, it lands somewhere between promising and frustrating. The core loop will be familiar to anyone who touched the previous games. You start small, juggling content schedules, picking video genres, growing a follower count, and decorating your home studio with progressively more ridiculous gear. Thumbnail selection and a card-based content production system add some mechanical texture to what used to feel like pure number-watching, and the studio customisation runs deep enough that you can kit out everything from streaming rigs to a swimming pool. Brand contracts and sponsorship missions layer in a light management angle, and a mission-tracking HUD added in post-launch updates makes juggling side quests, friendship missions, and commissions a fair bit less chaotic. The headline addition is Livestreaming Battles: real-time multiplayer card matches where you compete against up to three other players, spending Wit points and deploying attack, defence, and reaction cards to steal viewers or protect your own audience. When it clicks, it is the most energetic thing the series has ever done. The competitive mode puts you in a free-for-all against real opponents, while an auto mode exists for players who find the streaming minigame more chore than challenge. That auto option was actually patched in after vocal early-access feedback, which tells you something both about the developer's responsiveness and about how divisive the mechanic was at launch. Weekly in-game events, co-op card battles, and a global leaderboard round out the social side. The reception at launch was rough. A chunk of the player community pushed back hard, citing bugs in side missions that simply fail to register completion, UI issues, and a general sense that the game had shipped before it was ready. Some players saw the online pivot as an unwelcome change to a series they valued for solo play. The developer posted a lengthy response acknowledging the criticism and committed to ongoing updates, and patch 1.1 brought a revised mission screen, better HUD management, and various stability fixes. Progress is visible. The game is still Early Access in spirit even if it has formally launched, so your mileage will depend heavily on when you arrive and how tolerant you are of a work-in-progress experience. The visual style stays true to its predecessors with a cartoonish, low-poly aesthetic, which suits the tone well. System requirements are modest. The audience for this one is pretty specific: younger players or sim fans who genuinely enjoy the creator-economy fantasy and want a social hook that previous entries lacked. If you bounced off the earlier games or have zero patience for grind loops with rough missions, nothing here changes the equation enough to convert you. Alex, Scout Team

Veredicto de GamerScout

Best for fans of the series who want social competition, but solo sim players and bug-averse buyers should wait for further patches.
