WRC 6 is a straightforward rally championship game that handles the core loop well: pick a car, navigate point-to-point stages with a co-driver calling notes, and chase clean times. The handling feels weighty and responsive, rewarding smooth inputs over arcade thrashing. If you've got any experience with modern rally sims, the physics will feel familiar enough to click in quickly. The catch is the presentation. Eight years on, the graphics look tired, menus are clunky, and there's no online multiplayer or career depth to sink teeth into. It's single-player championships and time attacks, full stop. This is a game for players who want to experience WRC's real stages and cars without frills, not for anyone chasing a polished modern sim. If rough edges don't bother you and you just want to drive, WRC 6 still does that competently.
