I went in expecting a cheap cash-in and found something genuinely charming instead. Why So Evil drops you into a world where you play as (or alongside) a villain archetype, and the game leans hard into that premise with dark humor and surprisingly solid combat. The action flows smoothly, enemy variety keeps encounters fresh, and the casual difficulty curve means you're not fighting the controls, just the bad guys. It's not polished like a AAA release, but it doesn't need to be. The premise sticks, the humor lands, and there's enough meat here to justify the asking price. If you're after a quick, fun romp that doesn't take itself seriously, this scratches that itch.
