Three creepy hidden-object adventures bundled together, built around a haunted amusement park, a ghost clown named Louis, and his unsettling puppet Mr. Dudley. Exactly what HOG fans want, warts and all.

I went in expecting throwaway casual filler and came out with a grudging respect for the atmosphere these three games consistently nail. The Weird Park Trilogy bundles Broken Tune, Scary Tales, and The Final Show into a single package, and while none of the individual entries would embarrass the hidden-object genre, it is the creepy amusement park setting that does most of the heavy lifting. Rusty Ferris wheels, derelict circus tents, and a ghost clown named Louis Gauche roaming the grounds create a mood that a lot of HOGs simply cannot be bothered to build. Mechanically, all three games follow the HOPA formula: you click through scenes looking for listed objects, pick up inventory items, and break up the routine with mini-game puzzles. Parts one and two stick closely to that template, with classic hidden-object scenes and a backtracking loop that will feel familiar to anyone who has played more than a couple of games in this genre. The third entry, The Final Show, shakes things up a little: it opens with sequential and fragmented-object scenes before settling into traditional HOG mechanics, and it introduces cross-inventory item manipulation that you rarely see executed this deliberately. There is also an expert mode across the series that strips out hint assistance and pushes the experience closer to a proper point-and-click adventure, which is worth knowing if you want a bit more friction. The criticisms are fair and you should go in knowing them. There is no in-game map and no fast travel, which means backtracking across already-visited screens happens more than it should. The hidden-object lists can be vague or outright misleading with object names, and the games penalise excessive misclicking in those scenes. The writing is the other weak spot: Louis and Mr. Dudley behave inconsistently across the three chapters, with motivations that shift without enough in-story justification. The Final Show does attempt to tie the narrative threads together, and it includes a bonus episode that closes out the jester puppet's story, but players who need coherent lore will be left wanting. What saves the package is the atmosphere and the sheer amount of content. The second game, Scary Tales, takes the action through twisted fairy-tale settings including Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Aladdin, keeping the scenery varied even when the mechanics plateau. The progression from game to game is best appreciated in order, since each entry builds on the cast and premise of the last. Played straight through, this is a multi-hour creep through some genuinely well-drawn grotesque environments, priced as a bundle rather than three separate purchases. If you have played every Big Fish release from 2011 to 2014 and want more of the same with a slightly above-average horror coat of paint, this trilogy delivers. If you need sharp writing, modern quality-of-life features, or a map, look elsewhere. For everyone else who can tolerate the genre's quirks, the Weird Park setting is distinctive enough to justify the time. Alex, Scout Team

Veredicto de GamerScout

Best for HOG fans who want consistent atmosphere and a full trilogy arc, and can tolerate dated quality-of-life and loose storytelling.
