Spitter leans into the vanity side of running a banana republic: you're chasing fame and prestige as El Presidente, with new buildings and edicts designed around building your cult of personality rather than economic dominance. If you like the idea of turning your dictator into a household name while juggling the usual Tropico balancing acts (keeping factions happy, managing resources, dodging rebels), there's a niche appeal here. The problem is scope. This is DLC-sized content, not a game-changer, a few hours of fresh scenarios and mechanics bolted onto base-game systems you've probably already optimized to death. Skip this unless you're a Tropico completionist who wants every scenario and achievement. For fresh players wanting to try the series, grab the base game and a more substantial expansion pack first. Spitter works as a fun diversion if you're already deep in Tropico 6's spreadsheets, but it won't revive the game if you've moved on.
