I've always appreciated games that respect their own weirdness without apology, and Trash TV is exactly that. You're a tube television brought to life in a recycling center, and your mission is straightforward: find your remote and get functional again. The pixel art is deliberate and warm, the puzzle design favors logic over pixel-hunting, and the pacing never outstays its welcome. It's short, maybe two hours, but that feels intentional rather than unfinished. What makes it work is the restraint. Lawrence Russell doesn't oversell the concept or pad it with busywork. The soundtrack sits underneath everything like a gentle hum, the writing has personality without being cutesy, and there's a real sense of place in that junkyard setting. If you want a small, handcrafted adventure that knows exactly what it is and doesn't apologize for its modest scope, this is it.
