I spent enough time with Tinhead to see what it's after: old-school run-and-gun platforming where your only tools are timing, a serviceable jump, and a basic gun. Levels are short but punishing. Enemies like spinning Krystals and saw-blade fliers hit hard, and bosses demand pattern recognition and clean execution. The game doesn't coddle you or explain much, which is either its charm or its wall depending on your patience. What works is the core loop: each attempt teaches you the level layout, and you'll beat it on the third or fourth try. What doesn't is the lack of polish in places. The physics feel slightly floaty, checkpoints are sparse, and there's no map overview so you're often unsure if you're progressing or just stuck in a dead end. If you want a bite-sized, no-frills platformer that respects your time and reflexes, Tinhead delivers that. If you need modern QoL or forgiving difficulty options, look elsewhere.
