That said, don't expect Deep Simcity-level systems. Officer management is shallow, budgets don't create meaningful constraints, and the AI difficulty feels binary. Metacritic's 66 undershoots what this actually is: a competent narrative-strategy hybrid for players who prioritize story branching over emergent systems. If you want a police management game with operational depth, look elsewhere. If you want to roleplay running a department your way and live with the fallout, this delivers.
