Swim Out strips strategy down to its essentials: each level is a small grid where you control one or more swimmers, moving them step-by-step to avoid other swimmers, floaties, and obstacles until everyone escapes. The puzzle design escalates smartly from trivial to genuinely taxing, and the minimalist aesthetic (clean water, pastel colours, human-sized collision boxes) keeps cognitive load low even when solutions demand foresight. This is a rare indie title that respects your thinking time and works equally well on keyboard, mouse, or controller. It's not meaty enough for strategy enthusiasts chasing 100-hour spreadsheets, but it's exactly right if you want pure turn-based problem-solving in 30-minute sessions without menus or tutorial padding.
