The game leans hard into ambiguity, no tutorial, no hand-holding, no clear rules for what the entity wants or how to appease it. That's either brilliant or infuriating depending on whether you vibe with horror that refuses to explain itself. The simulation layer (tracking resources, monitoring systems) grounds the horror in tangible stakes rather than jump scares. It's methodical and tense rather than frantic.
