I went in expecting either ironic charm or a genuine surprise from a 2018 indie fighter. Stickman Fighting delivers neither. It's a fighting game where you control a stick figure punching and kicking across simple backgrounds, with minimal animation polish and AI opponents that feel more random than challenging. The core loop is functional but repetitive, and there's no real depth to speak of - no combos worth learning, no characters that feel distinct, just basic strike-and-dodge until the opponent falls. If you're hunting for a throwaway time-waster with zero pretense, it exists. But there are better stick-figure fighters out there that actually understand rhythm, timing, or humor. Skip this unless you're specifically collecting obscure 2018 indie fighters for historical reasons.
