Space Grunts 2 is a turn-based tactical roguelike that strips away the bloat and focuses on tight decision-making. You move a small squad through randomly generated bunkers, managing limited ammunition and resources while enemies close in from all angles. Each run feels different because the layout, enemy spawns, and loot change every time, which keeps replays fresh even after a dozen failed attempts. The core loop works well: position units, conserve shots, retreat when overwhelmed, and learn enemy patterns. It's not flashy or story-heavy, and the UI takes some getting used to, but if you like roguelikes where every bullet counts and squad tactics matter more than reflexes, this scratches that itch cleanly. Not for everyone, but exactly what it promises to be.
