I went in expecting Sonic, left with pinball. Sonic Spinball strips the hedgehog of his trademark dash and plants him on a digital table full of ramps, bumpers, and targets. It's a straightforward arcade pinball experience where you control flippers to keep the ball alive, rack up combos, and hit themed zones. The novelty of Sonic IP wrapped around pinball mechanics is enough to carry a short session, and if you grew up on late-90s browser games, the Candystand.com roots might feel nostalgic. Don't expect mechanical depth or visual polish. This is a lightweight casual game that does one thing, pinball with a Sonic coat of paint, and does it competently without ambition. It's worth a quick play if you enjoy low-stakes arcade fun or are chasing Sonic games for completeness, but it won't stick around in your rotation long.
