I went in expecting a straightforward puzzle-platformer, and that's what Ringies delivers: small creatures stuck far from home, and you've got to navigate them through obstacles to get them back. The core mechanic is solid enough for the price tier, and there's a genuine attempt at personality in the character design and level progression. What works is the simplicity. What doesn't is the lack of polish, controls feel floaty, level design can feel arbitrary, and the difficulty curve stumbles between boring and frustrating. It's the kind of game that's fine for 30 minutes between other things, but doesn't have much staying power. If you're a completionist casual player who doesn't mind rough edges, you'll get your money's worth. Everyone else should probably skip it.
