The core loop works: pick a ship, memorize patterns, nail your dodges, rack up score multipliers. It's lean and focused, which means there's no story padding or modern hand-holding to get in the way. The catch is that Raiden IV assumes you know what a bullet-hell game wants from you and doesn't waste time teaching it. If you're new to the genre, expect a steep difficulty climb. If you've lived in arcade cabinets, you'll recognize the formula and decide if this particular execution clicks for you. It's not groundbreaking, but it does what it sets out to do without apology.
