Skip the grind and jump straight into Overwatch 2's full hero roster on Xbox - but check first whether you already own what this pack sells.

I've spent enough time watching newer players sit through the hero unlock grind in Overwatch 2 to know that the frustration is real. The free-to-play model is generous in theory, but actually getting your hands on post-launch heroes without a Battle Pass or a pile of Overwatch Coins is a slow burn. That's the problem this DLC is trying to solve, and it mostly does the job - with one big asterisk. What you're getting here is instant access to four OW2-era heroes - Sojourn, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Ramattra - plus the entire legacy roster from the original game, three OW1 legendary skins (Blackhardt Reinhardt, Imp Mercy, and Nevermore Reaper), and 1,000 Overwatch Coins. Each of those four headlining heroes brings something genuinely distinct to the 5v5 format. Sojourn is a high-skill-ceiling damage dealer whose Rail Gun rewards accuracy and punishes sloppy positioning. Kiriko is a slippery support who can wall-climb, throw protective Suzu to cleanse teammates, and teleport to allies through walls. Ramattra is a shape-shifting tank who swaps between a ranged Omnic Form using the Void Accelerator staff and a brutal close-range Nemesis Form that fires energy-charged punches penetrating barriers. Junker Queen is the melee-forward brawler tank, built around wound stacking, a life-steal passive, and the Jagged Blade pull to drag enemies into shotgun range - though her kit reads as less cohesive than the others and she demands more patience to get value from. The honest caveat here is context. If you've already played through seasons and accumulated coins or won enough matches to unlock some of these heroes organically, this pack's value shrinks fast. It also doesn't include newer heroes added after these four, so it's not a future-proof complete roster solution. The 1,000 Overwatch Coins are a nice sweetener - enough for a single Battle Pass or a few cosmetics - but they don't dramatically change the math on their own. This is best framed as a new-player accelerant, not a collector's package, and only on Xbox where the pack is specifically offered. For a returning player coming back after a long break, or someone who just installed OW2 for the first time and doesn't want to stare down a 35-win unlock requirement per hero, the pack does exactly what it says. You get a functional, varied group of heroes across all three roles - damage, support, and tank - and the OW1 roster fills out the rest of the board immediately. For anyone already past that early friction, it's a harder sell. Alex, Scout Team
