I spent three hours in the distorted corridors of Night Reverie and felt like I'd woken from someone else's dream. This is a small, deliberate game about a kid navigating a house that's been twisted into something impossible. You'll solve environmental puzzles, meet peculiar creatures, and gradually piece together what's happened. The pixel art is lovely - muted, soft, with an almost watercolor quality that makes the wrongness of the spaces feel more intimate than grotesque. What makes it work is restraint. Night Reverie knows it's short and doesn't overstay. The puzzles are logical without being tedious, the pacing respects your attention span, and the soundtrack sits in your chest like a held breath. It's not a game that demands much of you mechanically, but it asks you to pay attention to mood and detail.
