I picked up My Arctic Farm expecting another resource-management puzzle, but what I found was refreshingly honest about its scope. This is a pocket farming sim with no narrative, no disaster mechanics, no market speculation. You're managing a small plot in a snowy setting, rotating crops across seasons, watching numbers tick upward. The interface is clean and the loop clicks immediately for newcomers. The trade-off is obvious: there's no depth to exploit. No optimal crop rotations to theory-craft, no build paths that separate planners from button-mashers. If you're hunting for 40+ hours of strategic farming decisions, Stardew Valley or Hay Day will serve you better. But if you want pure farming without systems stacked on top of systems, My Arctic Farm delivers exactly that.
