I went in expecting a gimmick and found myself genuinely absorbed in the loop: grab modular gun parts, snap them together in wild configurations, then fight through levels to test if your creation actually works. It's part inventory puzzle, part ballistics playground. The shooting feels satisfying enough to justify the building, and there's real incentive to experiment since different enemy types reward different loadouts. The VR implementation lets you physically manipulate parts, which sounds cool in theory and mostly delivers. The catch: there's no story or world to speak of, just arenas and waves. If you need narrative scaffolding or polished progression, you'll bounce off fast. But if you're the type who spends three hours in a character creator or tweaks builds obsessively, this scratches that itch hard. It's a one-note song, but it's a song that knows exactly what it is.
