Monstrum 2 drops you into a deteriorating orbital facility where five survivors need to escape before a relentless creature tracks them down. One player controls the monster (Monstrum) with echolocation and predatory instincts; the other five scramble to gather resources, unlock exits, and keep their heads on their shoulders. The asymmetry is where the fun lives, hunters need coordination and map knowledge, while the monster plays solo but overpowered, creating a David-versus-Goliath dynamic that swings wildly based on player skill and communication. The station itself is procedurally shuffled each round, so you can't memorize safe routes. You're managing noise (the creature hunts by sound), splitting up to cover ground faster, and deciding when to risk stealth versus a full sprint to the exit. It's tense and replayable, though it hinges entirely on whether your lobby has mics and basic callout discipline. Solo players without a stack of friends won't get much out of it.
