I went in expecting a lazy nostalgia grab, but Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice is actually a competent point-and-click adventure wrapped in crude jokes and ridiculous island scenarios. The puzzle logic is straightforward, the dialogue moves at a decent clip, and there's enough winking at adventure-game tropes to keep fans of the era entertained. The humor won't land for everyone, it's deliberately juvenile and occasionally cringey in ways that feel more 1987 than 2020. If you've got a tolerance for leering gags and you miss the days of LucasArts adventure games without needing them to be clever about it, this scratches that itch. Just don't expect wit or character depth. It's a comfort-food adventure game for people who think the original Larry games were peak comedy. Everyone else should pass.
