LEGO Horizon Adventures Digital Deluxe Edition
Gorgeous LEGO visuals and a self-aware sense of humor can only carry a 10-hour isometric brawler so far when the combat loops wear thin by hour three.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Best for families with young kids wanting a short co-op romp; solo adult players will hit the repetition wall well before the credits.

Acerca de LEGO Horizon Adventures Digital Deluxe Edition
My first hour with LEGO Horizon Adventures genuinely charmed me. The fixed isometric camera over a world built entirely from LEGO bricks looks spectacular, and watching Aloy duck into orange grass and literally transform into a clump of orange bricks is the kind of clever visual gag that makes you grin despite yourself. The problem is that the game banks almost entirely on that initial goodwill, and it spends it faster than it earns new credit. Mechanically, this is a linear, arena-focused action game. You pick a character from a small roster, Aloy with her elemental bows, Varl with his spear and boomerang upgrade, Erend as the melee hammer guy, or Teersa lobbing explosives, and you fight waves of machine enemies across locked combat arenas. The weak-point targeting from Horizon Zero Dawn is loosely translated here, and there are gadgets like flame-jet boots, a Tripcaster, and an energy shield that add some surface variety. The hub village, Mother's Heart, lets you spend collected studs on rebuilding and customizing your base between missions, which is a pleasant enough loop for a session or two. Co-op, both local split-screen and online, works and is the clearest use case for this game at a family level. The chaos of two players losing track of each other in crowded arenas is its own kind of fun, even if it is rarely the intended kind. Where it falls apart is repetition. The mission structure almost never changes: walk a linear path, hit a combat arena, collect studs, repeat. The writing aims for self-aware Marvel-esque humor and lands maybe a third of its jokes. Most adults will find the comedy wears out its welcome well before the credits, and there is a real question of whether younger players, the clearest target audience, will stay engaged once the novelty of the LEGO aesthetic fades. Nearly all the original voice cast returned, which is a genuine bright spot, and the art direction earned industry award nominations for good reason. But charm and good looks are not a substitute for gameplay depth, and this one runs shallow pretty quickly. If you are a Horizon Zero Dawn fan hoping for a loving, layered retelling, look elsewhere. The story strips out most of the source material's nuance and plays the whole thing for quick gags. If you want a classic LEGO game experience with freeform exploration, character swapping, and dense collectible hunts, this also is not that. What it actually is: a short (roughly 10-12 hours), visually polished, occasionally funny co-op action game that works best for families with younger kids who have no prior Horizon context. On your own, as a solo adult player, the repetitive loop becomes very apparent very fast. The Digital Deluxe Edition wraps this content in additional cosmetic and character customization options, which matters more here than in most games given how central the village-building and character-dressing systems are. Whether that justifies the premium over the base edition depends entirely on how deep into those systems you expect to go.
