I'm not going to oversell this: Kitty Cat is a straightforward jigsaw puzzle game where you match pieces until cats appear. Eighty-four puzzles, all featuring felines in various settings, graded by difficulty. No timer pressure, no leaderboards, no meta-game layer. Just drag pieces around until the picture snaps into place. It works if you want something passive and meditative. The cat photography is pleasant enough that you won't resent staring at it while solving. Trading cards are unlocked as you progress, though they're cosmetic fluff. The 2016 release date shows in the interface design, which feels dated but functional. There's no ambition here, and no attempt at innovation, but sometimes that's exactly what a puzzle game should be. Not for anyone seeking challenge or storytelling, but solid for pure relaxation.
