Acerca de Kingdom Come: Deliverance - DLC Collection (DLC)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is already a dense, historically grounded RPG set in 15th-century Bohemia, and this DLC Collection packs in all the released expansions for players who want to squeeze every last quest out of Warhorse Studios' meticulous medieval world. If you bounced off the base game's punishing early hours but eventually fell in love with Henry's slow climb from peasant to capable fighter, this bundle gives you more reasons to stay in Rattay and its surrounding countryside. The collection covers Treasures of the Past, From the Ashes, and The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, each adding a distinct flavor to what is already a fairly unusual RPG experience. From the Ashes is the meatiest piece here. It hands you the reins of a destroyed village called Pribyslavitz and tasks you with rebuilding it from rubble into a functioning settlement. It is more management sim than action RPG, and fans of that loop - assigning buildings, managing finances, watching your little town grow - will find it surprisingly absorbing. It also feeds directly into Henry's arc as a person who earns respect rather than inheriting it, which fits the game's core themes neatly. The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon is exactly what it sounds like: a comedic sidequest chain following your noble companion Hans through a series of increasingly ridiculous romantic disasters. The writing here is genuinely funny in the dry, period-appropriate way KCD does best, and Hans is one of the more charming supporting characters in recent RPG memory, so spending more time with him is not a hardship. Treasures of the Past is the lightest offering, essentially adding a set of treasure hunt side activities that reward exploration without contributing much to the story. The honest caveat is that none of these expansions dramatically change the base game's rough edges. The controls remain clunky in moments, the save system is still the save system, and anyone hoping for a sweeping new narrative chapter comparable to a major story DLC from other studios will be underwhelmed. These are firmly side-dish content. Treasures of the Past in particular feels thin - a list of locations more than a designed experience. But From the Ashes and the Hans Capon storyline both justify their existence on their own terms, especially for players already invested in the world. Worth noting: this is the Xbox version of the collection, so you are playing KCD with its console-specific control scheme and performance profile. The game was always a better experience with patches applied, and by this point it runs considerably more smoothly than it did at launch. If you completed the base game and want more time with Henry, the Hans Capon and From the Ashes content in particular will feel like earned additions rather than filler. Treasures of the Past you can take or leave.
