ICBM: Escalation - United States of Annihilation
A nuclear strategy sim where you're building doomsday arsenals and managing Cold War escalation, obscure enough that you'll need patience to figure out what you're actually doing.
Veredicto de GamerScout
For hardcore strategy simulation fans only, dense, opaque, and rewarding if you decode the spreadsheet.

Acerca de ICBM: Escalation - United States of Annihilation
I went in expecting a turn-based strategy game about nuclear brinkmanship, but ICBM: Escalation is more of a spreadsheet sandbox than a narrative campaign. You're managing weapon development, missile stockpiles, and international tension across what feels like a loose Cold War scenario. The UI is dense and the tutorials are sparse, so expect to spend your first hour clicking around trying to understand the economy loop. If you're into games like Crusader Kings or Victoria where the mechanical depth matters more than flashy presentation, there's something here, but you have to be willing to read tooltips and experiment. The core hook is solid: watching your nuclear deterrent grow while other nations do the same creates genuine tension. But the game doesn't guide you toward meaningful decisions, and it's unclear if you're winning or just... existing. It's niche enough that I'd only recommend it to hardcore simulation fans who've already burned through the usual suspects and want something genuinely different, even if rough around the edges.
