I went in expecting a generic movie cash-in, and that's mostly what Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 delivers. You're playing through sequences from the film with light combat, some magical spell-casting, and story beats that follow the movie's structure. It's not broken, just unmemorable - the kind of game that existed to hit a release date alongside the film's theatrical run. The combat is basic third-person action with wand spells doing heavy lifting. There's co-op for Ron and Hermione moments, which adds a tiny bit of variety, but nothing here pushes any genre forward. If you're a Potter completionist hunting old licensed games, you'll find a functional if forgettable experience. Everyone else should know this peaked in 2011 and hasn't aged into something worth seeking out.
