Compara los precios de GreedFall: The Dying World Deluxe en tiendas de claves de confianza y encuentra la mejor oferta. Desarrollado por Nacon. Publicado por Nacon. Lanzado el 10/3/2026. Disponible en Xbox, PC. Géneros: Action, Adventure, RPG.

A flawed but earnest action-RPG prequel that gets the worldbuilding right even when the pacing drags, best suited to patient players who fell for the original's B-tier charm.

My first hours with GreedFall: The Dying World were a slow burn, and not always the good kind. The game sets you up as a native of Teer Fradee, a Doneigad shaman-in-training named Vriden Gerr, and ships you off to a diseased, war-torn Old Continent that the first game only ever hinted at. Flipping the perspective from colonizer to indigenous islander is a genuinely clever structural move, and the invented native culture, complete with its own language that bleeds into accented English dialogue, gives the world a texture most mid-budget RPGs never bother earning. The problem is that the game takes the better part of six hours before it opens up and actually lets you feel it. When the RPG systems do click, they click well. You pick from twelve starting profiles, Protector, Wild Fighter, Doneigad, Hunter, Obsidian Warrior, Elite Shooter, and more, but none of them are a cage. The progression is effectively classless: your starting profile just seeds the first few skill points, and you can cross-invest into Warrior, Magic, or Technical trees as you level, then respec entirely if a build stops working. The result is a character-building sandbox that rewards tinkering, and combat sits somewhere between real-time brawler and tactical pause-and-plan depending on how you want to play it. That flexibility is the game's single strongest argument for itself. What holds it back is the polish, or the consistent lack of it. The game entered early access in late 2024 and arrived at 1.0 in March 2026, and the seams still show. Pacing is uneven, companion writing rarely reaches the highs of Vasco or Siora from the original, and some performance roughness persists on console. The story introduces its big villain early and with confidence, which is a structural improvement over the first game, but the broader narrative loses momentum in the middle stretch in ways that feel like design decisions made under pressure. The critical consensus sitting around 63-68 on Metacritic and a mixed 58% on Steam is, honestly, about right. Who is this for, then? If you bounced off GreedFall in 2019 for reasons other than the setting or RPG depth, this sequel will not convert you. If you were charmed by what Spiders was reaching for even when they were stumbling, and you want more of that Old World with genuine faction politics, dialogue-based solutions, and a build system that rewards reading skill descriptions, there is a real game here worth your time. Go in with adjusted expectations, not a leap forward, more a sideways step that occasionally finds its footing, and The Dying World earns more goodwill than its mixed reception suggests it deserves. It is also, sadly, the last game Spiders will make, which colors the whole experience with a melancholy the studio probably did not intend. Alex, Scout Team

Best for patient RPG fans who loved the original GreedFall's B-tier ambition and can forgive a rough launch.
