Good Archer is a bare-bones archery sim that strips away the usual menu systems and story beats. You draw, aim, and fire at stationary targets arranged in simple levels. There's no progression system, no unlocks, no leaderboards, just the core loop of nocking arrows and watching them fly. The appeal is zen-like: you're either into it or you're not. For a 2017 indie release, the execution is competent but minimal. Physics feel satisfying enough, and the controls are responsive. The lack of ambition is both a strength and a weakness, there's nothing to get frustrated about, but there's also nothing pulling you back after an hour or two. Best suited for players looking for a meditative five-minute break rather than a game to sink time into.
