You manage unit positioning, weapon loadouts, and terrain advantage across grid-based battle maps. If you've bounced off Paradox's grand strategy titles but still crave historical depth with tactical bite, this is lean and focused enough to not overwhelm you with economy screens. The core loop works: deploy your forces, manage ammo and damage, watch positioning dictate outcomes. Fair warning though: this isn't flashy, animations are functional, and the audience is extremely niche. Community is small. If you want historical accuracy wrapped in a wargaming layer without 200-hour campaigns, and you don't mind rough presentation, it delivers. Otherwise, keep walking.
