FreakOut: Extreme Freeride
A 2015 extreme skiing sim that trades polish for authentic mountain physics and freestyle trick depth, niche, but solid if you want freeride challenge without arcade hand-holding.
Veredicto de GamerScout
For freeride purists willing to accept dated visuals and minimal tutorials in exchange for authentic slope physics and trick depth.

FreakOut commits to backcountry skiing without the safety rails. You're dropped on steep, open terrain at 2000 metres with minimal guidance, forced to read the mountain and manage avalanche risk as core mechanics. Trick system rewards precision over button-mashing: linked manuals, grabs, and air rotations feel deliberate. Single-player campaign and multiplayer modes exist, but the real draw is freestyle mastery and personal best runs on procedurally varied slopes. The catch: this is 2015 indie work, not AAA polish. Visuals are functional rather than stunning, animation can feel stiff, and the learning curve assumes you already know how freeride skiing should feel. Tutorial is minimal. If you're coming from arcade ski games or expecting Steep-level presentation, you'll bounce off fast. But if you want a skating-game-style physics challenge applied to skiing, with genuine consequences for poor line choices, FreakOut delivers that specific itch better than most.
