I went in expecting a straightforward escape-room-style adventure, but Escape from Pyramid feels like a prototype that shipped before anyone playtested the controls or level design. Movement is stiff, combat (when it exists) is unresponsive, and the core objective often feels unclear. There's a kernel of an idea here, navigating a hostile ancient structure with some light action and puzzle-solving, but the execution stumbles at every turn. This is the kind of indie title that'll appeal only to completionists hunting obscure releases or players specifically drawn to rough-around-the-edges games. For everyone else, there are dozens of better-crafted indie adventures that scratch the same itch without the headaches.
