Elminage ORIGINAL is a first-person dungeon crawler built in the mold of Wizardry and the original Dungeon Master. You create a party, march into labyrinths one grid square at a time, and get absolutely wrecked by traps, ambushes, and enemies that don't care about your story. There's no handholding, no quest markers, no difficulty modes, just you, your party's stats, and the crushing knowledge that a wrong turn means a total party wipe you'll be restoring from your last save for. If you're the type who actually enjoys mapping dungeons on graph paper and min-maxing party compositions before taking a single step, this is your game. Everyone else should know what they're walking into: this is a 30-year-old design philosophy wrapped in a 2017 indie package, and it wears that chip on its shoulder proudly. The UI is sparse, combat is turn-based, and dying is not a learning moment, it's a feature.
