Super Pack 1 drops Cabba, Frost, and Hit into XENOVERSE 2 with new attacks and master training. Slim but focused DLC for fans already deep in the roster grind.

Let me be straight with you: this is DLC for a live-service-adjacent arena fighter, which means the value question is entirely dependent on how many hours you already have logged in XENOVERSE 2. If the answer is under twenty, close this tab and go buy the base game first. If you are sitting at a hundred-plus hours and still grinding the Conton City hub for new skills and parallel quests, then Super Pack 1 is exactly the kind of incremental content drop you have been waiting for. The headlining additions are two new playable characters, Cabba (with his Super Saiyan transformation unlockable through play) and Frost in his Final Form. Neither of these is going to reshape the competitive meta in any dramatic way, but both are clean additions that feel properly represented rather than half-baked. Cabba plays close to what you would expect from a Saiyan archetype, and Frost brings enough visual flair from the Universe 6 arc to scratch that Dragon Ball Super itch for fans who picked up the game specifically because of that content wave. The real draw for serious players is Hit as a new master. Hit is one of the more distinctive fighters from Super, and his training missions add a layer of purpose to the progression loop that the base roster sometimes lacks. Five new attacks round out the package, and while the exact skill list matters a lot for build optimization, the additions here are serviceable for custom character builds. This is not a transformation of the game. It is more gear for the gear-obsessed, which is fine if you know what you are buying. What does not work here is the same thing that never fully works with XENOVERSE 2 DLC packs: the value-per-dollar calculation is always a little uncomfortable when you compare it to how much content ships in the base game. You are paying for a narrow slice, and if those specific characters do not resonate with you from the Dragon Ball Super storyline, the five attacks alone are unlikely to justify the purchase. The game itself runs well on Xbox hardware, the online lobbies in the hub world hold up reasonably at this point in the game's life cycle, and the core combat loop is still satisfying in short sessions. But none of that is this DLC's doing. Bottom line: Super Pack 1 is for XENOVERSE 2 players who watched the Universe 6 Tournament arc and immediately wanted to run Hit's training missions. If that sentence describes you, you already know whether to buy this. Fred, Scout Team
