I'll be straight with you: this collection is Destiny 2's full-priced catch-up tax. You're getting Beyond Light, Shadowkeep, Forsaken, Lightfall, and The Final Shape (the latest expansion) plus a year-long annual pass, which is basically everything released between 2019 and now. If you've never touched Destiny 2, this buys you the campaign content and seasonal cosmetics, but it doesn't explain why the story jumps around or why the live service layer underneath still feels locked behind timegates and grinding. The real sell: The Final Shape and Lightfall are solid expansions with meaty campaigns, and the annual pass gives you access to seasonal events without buying them piecemeal. The downside is straightforward, you're paying full AAA price for a live service game that's designed to pull cash from you beyond this purchase. Only grab this if you're committed to sticking with Destiny 2's ecosystem, not dipping a toe in.
