ComputerHead: Recoil is a curious blend of real-time platforming and tactical decision-making. The core loop has you navigating levels where movement and positioning matter as much as timing, forcing you to plan a few steps ahead while still landing jumps under pressure. It's not a full-throated strategy game, nor is it a pure platformer, it sits awkwardly between both, which works if you appreciate that friction. The game clearly knows its audience is small. It doesn't try to be all things, just tries to nail the one thing it's chasing: levels that reward both quick reflexes and forward thinking. If you're burnt out on pure action or pure puzzle-solving, this oddball mix might scratch an itch. If you need one or the other to carry the weight, you'll likely bounce off.
