I went in expecting a traditional adventure game and found something weirder: Case #9 is a lean, atmospheric mystery that prioritizes mood over hand-holding. You're picking through evidence and dialogue fragments trying to piece together what happened, and the game refuses to spell it out for you. The horror comes less from jump scares and more from the wrongness of it all, what you're *not* told matters as much as what you are. It's short (expect 1-2 hours), deliberately obtuse, and the pixel-art style works in its favor, creating distance that makes the unsettling bits hit harder. If you like mysteries that trust your brain and don't mind a cryptic ending, it's worth the time. If you want narrative hand-holding or clear closure, move on.
