Atlantis 2 is a straightforward point-and-click adventure that doesn't try to reinvent anything. You explore a series of handcrafted locations, collect items, solve inventory puzzles, and talk to NPCs to uncover the story. It's lean and mechanical - zero voice acting, minimal cinematics, all mechanics. The Atlantean setting gives you some thematic coherence, but the real draw is whether you're the type who enjoys slow-burn exploration and clicking every hotspot methodically. This is strictly for players who grew up on LucasArts adventures or still love that rhythm. Modern adventure games have moved toward streamlined UIs and narrative focus; Atlantis 2 ignores that trend and commits fully to the old template.
