That is a genuinely fair deal if you are already invested in Among Us and want to chip in. The Brainslug and UFO pets fit neatly into that category: small, charming, completely optional expressions of fandom. The honest read on whether this is worth picking up comes down to one question - are you buying it because you love the design of these two pets, or because someone told you that you needed it? If it's the former, go for it. The Brainslug in particular has a cult following among Among Us regulars, and seeing it bob along behind a crewmate is genuinely endearing in the way that only Among Us art direction can pull off. If it's the latter, skip it without guilt. Nothing here unlocks a map, a role, a game mode, or any piece of content that affects your sessions. The base game remains free of paywalls for actual play.
