Air defenders

I spent a few hours with Air Defenders expecting a lite tower-defense game. Instead it's a pure interception puzzle: incoming missiles, your gun placement, and the math of trajectory and timing. There's no story filler, no progression treadmill. Each scenario asks you to solve a ballistics problem under pressure. The UI is spartan but functional once you understand the targeting system. The catch: this is a niche product with one core mechanic and no frills. There's no campaign to speak of, no unit variety, no meta-metagame. If you want a chill management sim, look elsewhere. If you want a tense, numbers-driven interception challenge that respects your time, Air Defenders delivers exactly what it promises. It's cheap and honest indie work from a solo dev.
