I spent a couple hours with Mato expecting a gimmick, but the rotation mechanic actually works. Each level locks you in place while the world spins around you, forcing you to think in three dimensions on a 2D screen. It's the kind of idea that sounds clever in a pitch and mostly delivers on it, though the novelty plateaus faster than I'd hoped. Levels get progressively meaner, but there's no real story or character arc to carry you through the harder puzzles. This is a weekend brain-teaser for players who like spatial reasoning puzzles and don't need a narrative jacket. It won't blow your mind, but if you're looking for something short and different, Mato scratches that itch cleanly.
