About The little vampir
I spent about an hour with The Little Vampir before hitting the wall most players will: the core concept is solid. You're a weakened vampire creeping through a palace to reach a princess, and guards patrol in predictable patterns. The strategic layer comes from reading their timing and finding safe windows to advance. That's it. That's the entire game. No complexity layers, no varied challenge ramps, just the same pattern-matching puzzle repeated until frustration sets in. The problem isn't ambition, it's execution. The controls feel sluggish, the guard AI is brittle (they'll spot you inconsistently), and there's no sense of progression or reward beyond "you did it again." For a 2017 indie title with next to no community presence, this feels abandoned rather than intentionally minimal. If you're hunting for a five-minute puzzle game to kill time, there are dozens of better options on itch.io. Diego, Scout Team
