About The Forgotten Void
I've seen enough early-access-era indie games to recognize the ambition in The Forgotten Void, even if the delivery doesn't quite land. Turn-based combat paired with mind-bending puzzles sounds like a solid hook, but the tutorial does you no favors explaining which mechanics matter. The game wants you to experiment, which is fine in theory, but without clear feedback loops or meaningful progression signposting, experimentation feels more like fumbling in the dark. For five bucks or less, this is worth a shot if you're the type who reads wikis and doesn't mind rough edges. The core idea has legs, but the execution needs tightening. Patient puzzle fans with low expectations will find enough here to justify the download. Everyone else should manage their curiosity accordingly. Diego, Scout Team
