GamerScout Verdict
A scrappy survival concept with real stakes, hampered by Early Access roughness but worth a look if resource loops hook you.

About SERUM
SERUM drops you into a tense survival loop: extract serum to stay alive, or watch your character deteriorate. It's got that resource-scarcity tension I love in smaller indies, where every decision to explore or hide feels weighted. Combat leans action-heavy against creature threats, and puzzle-solving punctuates the grind just enough to break monotony. The pitch is solid - addiction as a hard mechanic rather than narrative window dressing. The catch is Early Access rough edges. Single-player focus means no co-op crutch if pacing lags, and at launch, repetition can set in before the story payoff lands. If you're the type who gets hooked on survival systems and environmental storytelling, there's a skeleton here worth following. But temper expectations: this is a scrappy premise with potential, not a polished campaign.
