There's no 3D match engine here, results are text-based calculations, which means you're really just optimizing formations and player stats. The interface feels dated by design, but if you're comfortable with spreadsheet-heavy decision-making, that's actually efficient. The real draw is breadth: you can simultaneously manage multiple divisions across Europe if you want competitive cross-league chaos. Here's the catch: this is a 2003 rerelease in 2020, not a remake. The AI is basic, the UI demands patience, and there's no modern quality-of-life polish. If you're chasing nostalgia for when football sims meant deep squad tinkering over flashy graphics, or you want a lightweight management tool that won't bloat your save files, it's passable at a budget price.
