I went in expecting lowest-shelf licensed shovelware and came away surprised. Rescue Wheels is a straightforward arcade racer where you pick a pup and tear around Adventure Bay tracks in monster trucks, grabbing stunts and turbo boosts between dodging obstacles. It's colourful, the controls feel responsive on gamepad, and the game doesn't demand precision timing or cruel difficulty spikes. The real appeal: split-screen local multiplayer for up to four players. That's the core feature, and it works. No online-only gatekeeping, no battle pass nonsense. It's a kids' racer that respects the couch experience and doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. Solo campaign exists but feels like the appetiser; multiplayer is the meal.
