About Office Life
Office Life bills itself as a simulation, but it's really a branching visual novel where your choices boil down to which flirtation tactic to deploy on your boss. The premise is straightforward: Jake lands an IT job and pursues a relationship (or conquest, depending on how the narrative frames it) with his superior. The "simulation" layer is thin. You'll pick dialogue options and methods, then watch the story branch accordingly, but there's no real resource management, no career progression system, no consequences that ripple across a working day. It's more interactive fiction than anything resembling a strategy or management sim. If you're after actual workplace simulation mechanics, salary negotiation, skill trees, office politics as a system, this won't scratch that itch. The adult-oriented content is the main draw here, and that's fine if that's what you're after, but don't expect SimCity-level depth or even visual-novel-tier narrative branching complexity. It's a narrow experience for a very specific audience. Diego, Scout Team
