Mythic Pearls: The Legend of Tirnanog
A match-3 puzzle game with a mythical skin that doesn't justify its existence against a decade of better alternatives in the genre.

About Mythic Pearls: The Legend of Tirnanog
I fired up Mythic Pearls expecting a casual puzzle experience and got exactly that: a bare-bones match-3 loop where you align identical symbols and activate powerups. The mechanics work, technically. You match three pearls in a row, clear tiles, chain combos. There's nothing broken here, but there's also nothing that makes me want to keep playing when I could load Bejeweled, Peglin, or even free browser equivalents that do the same thing with better presentation or actual strategic depth. This is 2019 indie output that feels like a prototype stretched into a release. No narrative hook, no progression system worth mentioning, no reason to care about the mythological theming. If you've exhausted every puzzle game on Earth and specifically want match-3 with a fantasy coat of paint, it exists. Otherwise, pass. Diego, Scout Team
