I went in expecting a straightforward horde-shooter rail ride, but Killing Floor: Incursion surprised me by actually building story around the zombie murder. You'll trek through farmhouses and Paris catacombs in solo or co-op, piecing together what's spawning these Zeds while you reload and reload and reload. The gunplay feels solid in VR, proper reload mechanics, weapon variety that matters, and enemy types that require different tactics. Wave structure is familiar, but the multi-hour campaign gives it more shape than the usual "endless until you die" format. The downside: it's lean on content outside the story runs, and if you're not deeply into VR shooters, the control scheme might feel rigid rather than immersive. Endless mode exists but feels like an afterthought. Still, for headset owners craving a shooter with actual plot momentum and co-op that works, this delivers the goods.
