About Journey to the Savage Planet Epic Games key
I went in expecting another serious space-colonist sim and got a vacation instead. Journey to the Savage Planet is a first-person adventure that prioritizes exploration and environmental puzzles over gunplay. You're scanning bizarre flora, launching yourself off cliffs with a jetpack, and solving simple physics-based challenges. The tone is self-aware and silly, your AI companion cracks wise, the wildlife is colorful and ridiculous, and nothing takes itself seriously. The open-world design is compact and manageable, which works in its favor. You're not drowning in markers or sidequests. Combat exists but feels secondary to figuring out how to traverse each area and uncover the planet's secrets. It's the kind of game that rewards curiosity and patience over reflexes. If you like Outer Wilds' sense of wonder or Metroid's backtracking-and-unlocking loop but want something lighter and funnier, this lands in that sweet spot. Fair warning: the exploration does loop back on itself, so expect some repetition if you're rushing.
